Based in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland. Though small in size, currently our town is one of the most exiting and fastest progressing places in our country. Many world famous Swiss watch manufacturers are based here.
devdev GmbH was founded in 2010 by three long time independent software developers, each with a slightly varying background. The focus is on providing an even better service than what was possible before as individuals. Closely observing the rapidly developing interconnected world of the early 21st century, new technologies are evaluated all the time, and we are very enthusiastic about what we have chosen as our new main focus.
Python with the Django framework is our new mainstay for all web development. Additionally we use the excellent Django-CMS, which by coincidence is as well developed by Swiss people. We are very keen on customizing and tailoring an extensions to this great software-product, and will reinject all modules that make sense to the main branch.
We are observing in depth all development of modern JavaScript frameworks like jQuery. We learn about patterns and how to make more professional use of JavaScript as it gets more and more important as the number of websites which replace Flash with a JavaScript alternative grows day by day.
We had the chance to develop the excellent Palafittes iPhone Application which is available in the AppStore.
